When do I pay the deposit? Right now?
No — you do not pay on this page. After hitting "Lock Manifest", ops will verify your documents + reserve the sailing slot. Within 30 working minutes, we WhatsApp a personal ToyyibPay link for your deposit. The actual payment happens on the official ToyyibPay site (secure, supports FPX and cards from all Malaysian banks).
How much deposit do I need to pay?
The estimated deposit shows on the manifest preview to the right of this page based on your selections (~RM 400 for motorcycles, ~RM 600-700 for cars, ~RM 1,000 for heavy vehicles). The final amount is calculated against the actual route + sailing date tariff and confirmed by ops before the ToyyibPay link is sent.
Which documents are mandatory?
REQUIRED: (1) MyKad / Passport copy of vehicle owner — both sides. (2) Vehicle Grant — main page showing plate number + owner name. OPTIONAL: (3) Bank authorization letter if vehicle is under loan/leasing. REQUIRED IF COMPANY: (4) SSM Forms (Form 9, 24, 49 — combine into one PDF if possible).
What if the name on the Grant is not me?
You can still book — but you need to include a written authorization letter from the registered owner + a copy of their MyKad. WhatsApp us first for the authorization letter template. For company-registered vehicles, the SSM Forms upload is mandatory.
Can I change my selections after locking?
Yes, before you pay the deposit. WhatsApp ops with the changes — the slot is held for 24 hours, so there is time to tweak. After the deposit clears, major changes (route, vehicle) may incur an admin fee. Sailing date can still be swapped up to a day before ETD.
Is uploading MyKad here safe?
Yes. Files are uploaded directly to Cloudflare R2 (encrypted storage). Access is restricted to Rentaka ops only, every access is logged (audit trail). After your booking completes (vehicle delivered), documents are retained for 12 months for audit compliance, then deleted. We never share with third parties.
I do not have a PDF — can I send pictures only?
Absolutely. JPG, PNG, or HEIC (iPhone) accepted — just make sure the image is clear, all corners of the Grant are visible, MyKad shows both sides. Max 10 MB per file. If you hit any issues, WhatsApp us directly.
What is the difference vs Quote Request?
Quote Request (request-for-quotation-form) = you want to know the price only, zero commitment. Book Now (this page) = you are happy with the price and ready to lock the slot with a deposit. If you have not received a quote yet, get one first — we WhatsApp the final figure promptly.
