CBM (cubic meter) measures the volume of your goods. Formula: length × width × height × quantity. If measured in meters, the result is already in CBM; if in cm, divide by 1,000,000. Example: a box of 120cm × 80cm × 70cm = 0.672 CBM. Return-leg sea freight is priced per CBM, just like the outbound leg.

Sea transit from a Sabah/Sarawak port to Port Klang is typically 2–4 days depending on the origin port and destination port (Port Klang, Penang Port or Pasir Gudang). Choose LCL (shared container) when your return load is small-to-medium — you pay by actual CBM (RM450/CBM, minimum 1 CBM). Choose FCL (a full 20'/40' container) when total CBM is large (roughly above 12–15 CBM), for project demobilisation or a full move from Sabah/Sarawak — it is often cheaper and faster than paying per CBM.
