No. Excavators, forklifts, cranes and bulldozers do not use RoRo. They move by flatbed or heavy-lift, loaded with a gantry crane and IMO-spec rigging, and oversize units need special haulage permits for the road leg at either end.
A GDL-licensed jockey from our team drives the lorry on and off the vessel. GDL is the vocational driving licence class issued by JPJ for goods vehicles, so the driver handling your unit is licensed for it.
No. Quoted rates are port-to-port and exclude Marine Insurance. The premium is calculated from your vehicle’s own Insured Value, so it cannot be flattened into a single freight figure, and it is confirmed alongside your quote.
No. Our local agent at the destination handles the customs clearance step for you, and we prepare the accompanying documents — delivery order, manifest and delivery proofs — for every unit that moves.
The vehicle grant (VOC), a copy of the owner’s IC, valid road tax and motor insurance, and a signed Rentaka booking form. Add an authorisation letter if the sender is not the registered owner, and a bank release letter if the vehicle is still under a loan.
