Are the rates above inclusive of insurance?
Yes — every price includes Allianz Marine all-risk insurance. No separate insurance charge. Coverage spans severe weather, fire, vessel collision, and unforeseen events during sea transit.
Why does Kuching cost less than Bintulu or Sibu?
Kuching is the main Sarawak port — shortest sea transit and the highest sailing frequency. Bintulu is slightly higher due to longer sea transit and limited slots. Sibu routes via Kuching, sitting mid-range. Miri is quoted separately due to variable slots.
Can I get the final price online directly?
The Tariff Compass above is an accurate estimate by vehicle type + port. For the final figure, WhatsApp us with your vehicle details (model, year, modifications) and preferred date — we confirm promptly.
I need to ship a car from Kota Kinabalu back to Port Klang. Same price?
Slightly different. KK → Port Klang sedan is usually RM 2,540, SUV RM 2,640, motorcycle RM 1,160. Kuching → Port Klang sedan RM 2,110, SUV RM 2,310, motorcycle RM 1,160. Contact us for exact reverse-leg tariffs.
How much is home pickup?
For Klang Valley and selected nearby areas, pickup is RM 250. Outside Klang Valley we quote by distance. For door-to-door in Sabah/Sarawak (port → recipient address), we quote separately by destination zone.
When do I pay the balance? Can I split payments?
Deposit upfront to lock the vessel slot. Balance is paid after the car arrives at the destination port, before final delivery. We WhatsApp you as soon as the vehicle lands. No installment surcharge.
My car is modified / high-value. Is insurance enough?
Standard Allianz coverage protects up to RM 100,000 market value. For higher-value cars (classics, showroom-condition mods) we recommend top-up insurance or enclosed Container shipping. WhatsApp us for a premium quote.
