🧮Why Two Quotes for the Same Car Differ

Two quotes for the same vehicle in the same week can both be correct and still be different numbers. These are the variables that move it:

• Which Port Klang terminal the vessel berths at. Northport and Westports are priced separately on the same route, so the sailing you are offered changes what you pay. The full rate table shows the split.
• The routing, not just the destination. A car bound for Kuching can travel direct or be routed through Bintulu. Both end up in Kuching; they are not the same rate.
• Direction of travel. Peninsula-out and Borneo-back are separate tariffs. If you expect to bring the car home again, price the return leg now rather than assuming it mirrors the outbound.
• Vehicle class. Rates are banded — motorcycle, sedan/hatchback, SUV/MPV/4x4. A vehicle sitting near the edge of a band is worth confirming rather than guessing.
